Seomra Gairdín

The year was 2003. John Sherry was working for a furniture company and home offices were starting to become popular. The economy was doing well. John wanted to offer an exclusive product to customers – a home office separate to the house, but still on the same property.

With influence from Scandanavia and England, the company was born. Garden Rooms’ initial showroom was at the back of a family home in Loughshinny, Skerries. The very first show cabin was a log cabin called the Kati. Many customers travelled to the showroom to see the log cabin and how it could be used as a home office. The very first log cabin sold was to a customer in Santry, Dublin 9! To this day many of these first customers remain on Garden Room’s customer reference list, as a testament to the quality and high level of service provided by Garden Rooms.
